YouTube Transcript MCP uses GitHub OAuth only to authenticate a connection. It receives the YouTube URL and language you provide to retrieve captions.

The service does not intentionally store transcripts or requested video URLs. Vercel, GitHub, and YouTube may process standard service, authentication, and operational data under their own policies.

Do not submit personal or sensitive information through video URLs or tool inputs.
